Great color combination. There is no particular reason to hang it with a point up. Any way you like it it is right.

It's nice Mona!  Love the streamer/fracture glass you used in it, very nice.  Eh, I figure they can hang however we happen to like them!  Congrats!

Thanks everybody!
I wish I could get a picture to show off that green better, I love that dark green glass.  And of course I was thinking of Rebecca when I was doing it!  I think we'd be cat fighting over green things if it came down to it! :-)
Joanne, the fact that it took me 9 months to do this one....after recutting pieces thanks to princess Zoe and just life getting in the way, I'm glad it's done.  Though anytime I get time to work on glass projects is always nice as I don't find much time.
It's a good thing I don't know how to use a chainsaw and am not real comfortable handling tree cutting implements (chainsaws, axes), otherwise I would have been in the yard trying to get somewhere with the big oak and elm that were cut down earlier this week.  I'm tired of looking at the mess.

Mona, I too really like the green and the fracture glass though I don't like working with it and the chipping it does. No matter when you started it it's finished now and looks beautiful! I'm ready to make another one :)

Isn't glass great, it doesn't go bad while it sits waiting for us to get back to it.  I have a few pieces around here that have never been completed too, and one of these days they will get taken out of the closest and finish.

I'll bet now that it is finished it will inspire you to work on a new piece.

Wayne usually the large flake frit pieces fall off at different stages of the process, either cutting or grinding near them

Malinda, it is normal to lose some of the fractured pieces on the back.  It happens, it is okay unless the piece is left without fractures!

Pretty star Mona:) I really like that you used some fracture-streamers glass for part of it.
