After too long being away from glass and in a funk I picked up a partially done project today and got it foiled. I LOVE IT! Since it's off a bit I'm actualy not going to use the center circle bevel and instead I'm going to hang a teardrop (I think)...unless I can shift things or fix it to get it all to fit properly.
I could see definately making another one of these and if I don't run out of glass again and have to wait 6 month for it to arrive I think it will go much smoother the second time.
Off to eat lunch then solder this puppy!

I love the colors in this Malinda, and the design!  Very pretty!  I'll look forward to seeing it finished.  Like the idea of the hanging teardrop..

I love the glass, it looks so pretty in your piece! Do you mind me asking what that pink/peach one is??? It feels nice to look at, if that makes any sense *lol.

I don't even like pink and I LOVE that!  That's the doohickey I repaired, isn't it?  It looks better than the original.

Well here it is soldered and cleaned but now I have to patina it.....as you can see I left the circle inside after all. I don't think I would have like it without....

Rebecca - I don't think it's what you repaired? Wasn't that a layered type item? I think the same shapes but this isn't layered.

I have to say I do love this project myself WOW....

Oh, the second picture I let the program autocorrect so the coloring is different, I think the first one is more true to likeness.

Thanks everyone.
