I have a thing for trees and have done this one before.  I am going to make a panel out of the three sides next time.  Can't light it since I ran out of bulbs.

Really nice Barbara!  I recognize the glass you've used for the rocks, it's beautiful in the light. A really nice lamp!

Barbara, those are very very nice. I'm trying to come up with a design for full sidelights for our new front door, incorporating trees, rocks, river and mountains. Since it's 12" wide and 6'8" tall, I'm having a hard time.. I'll probably stare at your panels a while longer..

I meant to ask, where do you find stands like those?

Linde, you can usually find the kits for these lamps, I think Aanraku makes them.  Or..you can find a handy woodworker to make a triangular piece of wood and drill three holes in it.  The metal rods are only about 6" long.  (I'll measure them to make sure) and you need three of them.  They are soldered into the three seams of the lamp.
