Me too Anne. I'm hoping the full fuse won't collapse the spirals as I know the white will melt down some. I'll have to watch it and stop it it I have to. I had contemplated doing a dimensional fuse with it, but having never really worked with fine frit before, I was not sure if that would be enough of a fuse for it. I think it will make a really nice set when completed.

I'd like to make a base for the large platter, but I need to fine a strong adhesive that is not a UV glue as the glass is opal and uv light won't be able to cure it.

I've never used this particular Loctite glue.  I know someone that has used the Loctite 349 but it's a UV glue...that would be of no use to you.  Hxtal would be the best but it's expensive and takes a long time to cure.  Don't you have Triolyse?

I like it now that you've added the white frit... makes the designs really pop...

Yes I have Triolyse, but it too  is supposedly a UV glue, though seems to hold non transparent pieces together well. My concern was that I'm not sure if it's dishwasher safe, though I am also not sure someone would put the piece in the dishwasher to begin with, but better safe than sorry.

Triolyse is a UV glue but it uses an activator instead of a UV light source...that's why it will work with opals.  Not sure about it being dishwasher safe.

Gorilla glue is waterproof (or some of it is I know Kev), and there are a ton of different kinds.  They might be worth checking out too.

I'll vouch for the Gorilla being waterproof!
Before the turn of the century I mended a plastic flip thingie on the drip mechanism of a coffee pot and it outlasted the life of the heater. I also mended my food processor lid and that's still going strong. There was also something for the pond, one of the pumps I think.
Just remember to clean up the bubbles before it dries.

If in doubt, put a little note in with it for the care of it and say "not dishwasher safe".

Very nice!  Love how colorful they are and the spirals and squiggly lines are a nice touch!  I'm certain that those will be sold.

Nice job Kev!  De
