It's got a soft, textural look that makes me want to touch it.  Very nice work, Kev.

Kev
I reckon your annealing was spot on for this to have survived all the sand carving without imploding. Did you increase your annealing times?
Very well done

Thanks Ian. I did not change the schedule at all. I followed the schedule for 3/8" and it worked out great. I noted that it actually started slumping at about 1050 degrees.

There you go Kev
Size{Span} of blank + thickness{weight}+ gravity= bending sooner then expected. Keep this temp noted down and the size of mold and it will come in very handy knowing this about your kiln

 th_7a52c3c0ce58e0e Thumbs up

These are wonderful. I am so impressed with your combining techniques.

I had another one for you to sandblast for me, but used Armour Etch on it and it worked. After seeing what you are up to I may need to put a sand blaster higher on the list.

These both turned out so good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations

I really like how this turned out, it's just beautiful!  Very creative and well done!  I might add, that I also really like the background you chose to photograph it on...very professional!
