Wow, what a great job on the sand dollar Kev! And how are the curleys done - are they sandblasted? I like the other tray too and I'm sure your friends will be honored that you took the time to do that for them. So cool that you can always turn something you didn't like at first to something that's really nice.  Good for you!

Thanks Anne.

Yes the waves are sandcarved into the glass. At least I can be sure no one else will be giving that for a wedding present. She apparently loves anything with stars and moons...so this will be a different version of stars for her.

On both Kev. Love the tracks and the heart in the sand they  will be thrilled with it. The sand dollar plate-to-be  turned out great as well.

Most excellent my friend!  I love both of these projects. The beach scene is totally adorable!  How in the world did you create that sand dollar?  It's wonderful!

The heart in the sand and the tracks in the beach scene are just perfect!  Anyone would be extremely pleased, I would think, to be the recipient of either of these unique and beautiful expressions of the heart.

Thanks De!

The sand dollar was cut out and then contour fused to the original tray. I then sand carved in the detail. Currently that tray is in slumping.

Thanks LA! I love that one as well. I can see for the next one,  using multicolored frit in grays and tans along the waters edge and rounded out to look like pebbles.
