My current 2 trays that I am working on.
These trays will be have a full fuse initially, followed with a contour fused for some elements yet to be added. They each will have carved areas as well.
The brown tray will have a sand dollar applied and carved. The lighter tray is a wedding gift and will feature a heart carved into the cream with their names carved inside the heart as if scratched into the sand. Starfish will also be applied.

Odd how we change, a long time ago I was employed to live on a boat and divest it of ALL turquoise! It was there in abundance, from seatcovers and curtains to bedsheets, carpet and dinnerware. The Mahogony was faded and looked more like yellow pine, all in all an ugly combination of colors. The following year the rich Mahogony, Hunter green and gleaming brass was a sight to behold and I figured I would hate turquoise and brown forever....... W W But that is gonna be a beaut!

Being as I just updated my bedroom to a lovely blue and brown scheme..lol..hint, hint, that brown/blue tray would look magnific!
Funny, I just went shopping with someone today to buy an "Aunt of the bride" outfit for a wedding whose colors are....drum roll please....Turquoise and White! Is there something going around?
These will be beautiful, can't wait to see them with the adornments you've planned.

And as soon as I looked at the pic I was thinking gee Becki will like these colors too.......and lo and behold what was the next post. Nice trays Kev! and yes isn't it intersting how all things things come around. We had a house built in the 50's that was full of turq. I couldn't wait to get it all out yet now I'm partial to the color again too.

This is the post full fuse.
The brown glass lightened up to more of an almost caramel color...would have preferred the darker brown. Notice as well that there are 2 pieces that had darker bars of color strike...not real happy about that either.
The other lighter tray base turned out great...no surprises.

I would complain to the manufacturer about the darker bars.

Well I'm almost out of it now anyway..I'll might just either use the other side where there is only one tiny section of it, or camouflage it with something.

The manufacturer needs to know that there is a problem. They can't correct it if they don't know about it.

Kev, Is that the new Spectrum brown or a different manufacturer ? Looks just like the chestnut when fired.
