Made this for my son and his girlfriend, they just remodeled a kitchen and wanted a new stained glass light. She's Irish so the trinity knot was her first choice. She had a small lamp with the same design and from that I made a pattern, added the bevels and the beads. What a learning experience, I'm very happy with the results as it was my first attempt, now my daughter wants one...guess I'm in the lamp mode for a while.

Gretchen, this is really lovely. Har to believe this is your first attempt at a lampshade, these are really hard to make (at least they are in my world!).  You should be proud!

WOW, your 1st lamp, can't tell.  You did a fabulous job on it and the soldering is impeccable.  You should be very proud of yourself.

Too Fun! I have never seen a stained glass lamp with beads. I love it!

Really like the glass choices and would also like to see it lit.

Thanks for all the very nice comments. I'll try and get over to my sons this week to snap a picture of it lit up.  Hope the next lamp goes a little quicker than this one did!!!
On to the next project...inserts for a bathroom vanity I'm having made by the Amish.

Great job!!!  First lamp...does not look like a first. You did a wonderful job on it. I like the added beads but agree with not wanting to have to clean them.LOL
