Tom, this is a great project and I'm sure will be a popular gift at Christmas.

I hope I am wrong but when I look at the last picture, I see some cracks fanning out from the center. I hope it is just picking up texture from what ever is behind it.

Nope, not cracks.  I still don't know one kind of glass from another, but those lines are because it is a textured glass.  If it was a heavy texture, it would be difficult to get the decals to lay flat, but this texture is so minor that it doesn't seem to make a difference..

I actually like the look of the badge clock better, even though it is smaller.  I may try the shoulder patch on a smaller glass to see if that looks better as well.

Thank goodness it is not cracks in the glass but the glass texture. I'm with, Kev it looks like it could be Artique, pretty.

The "Thin Blue Line" looks like the texture of GNA or MNA to me. Artique would be pretty rough to put a decal over. But a rolled antique is very feint. Better quality glass too. Tom's got taste!

What a wonderful idea! I know you will do great with these. But all those holes make me crazy looking at them. I have about a 50% success rate myself. I am glad you worked it out.
