Leave it, leave it, leave it!   Lovely just as it is!   Can't you organized a little stip lite from the top behind the existing panel -so it would be lighter from the sky to not so light on the ocean floor.....  I have the ideas - someone else gets to work out the viability......
Oh - and I want some of whatever you're on - the rate you are working is phenominal!! grin

Good idea Elizabeth. I'll play with the options once I get that far. I'm thinking of lighting it from behind the base glass as I want the frosted background...I think...LOL   Currently it is in 2 pieces, so I need to first figure out how to attach it to the base glass since the ends of the curved panels are at an angle and will not lie flush with the base glass. I'm thinking a bad of the Triolyse will do the trick. I used it previously with the business card holder and it was strong. I glued 2 pieces of scarp together and then tried to get them apart and I couldn't budge them.

If I appear productive it's only because the blasting is so much quicker.

That would be fantastic Becki!!!!! I had wanted to mount them so there is about a 1/2" gap between the 2 pieces, and backed with a larger frosted piece that is larger in area than the 2 pieces put together....I open for any ideas I can get. I had actually thought of wrought iron as well in some manner. Because the enamels are transparent, they need the frosted background to really pop and show their color. I thought by having a piece frosted that they are mounted or placed against, it will leave enough space between it and the carved areas to differentiate them.

Thanks.  I'll let him know about the frosted back piece.  About how big would you say that would be?

Depending on how it's mounted, the curved ends touch the base with a span of 14.25 inches, but he upper edge of that edge extends slightly further. If it was mounted on a base piece of glass that also acts as a frame for it, it would be about 19 inches square.
