you did a beautiful job on the soldering of the piece you should be happy with it. I hope you aren't leaving it hung with those sucksion cups though, I would hate to see you with a repair job because of them.

It looks great Lynn, love the colors you chose and JF's right the soldering looks great!
Don't feel badly..I haven't felt very motivated since the holidays either..but I'd best get started. Plus it takes so darned long to heat up the large space I work in..brrrrrr. So that's not very motivating either.
You've gotten started though and that's what counts!! De

Umm. I dunno. I hate to keep answering that when people ask me what glass I used....but I buy a lot of my glass off of Craigslist. I haven't been doing this long enough to identify glass very well myself. This was a bit that came with a purchase from someone who was getting out of glass and, in this case, it was a fairly small bit. This piece used it right up-just barely was able to get my pieces out of it. I went and checked, and I don't even have a big enough scrap to try to get a better photo in case someone else could identify it. Sorry!

Not important, it looks a little like some I have from the same source.... I thought mine might be Armstrong.

Very pretty, Lyn. I had a crisis last night when I could'nt see the butterfly that everyone else was discussing! But eventually it popped up on the screen! Ain't technology wonderfull! I also work a lot with scraps and unmarked glass so am not very knowledgeable about numbers - but you do eventually get a feel for different makers. Then again, mostly that means that I can usually tell Spectrum, which makes up 90% of my glass, from 'other' makes...... Aaaah the joys of living on the other side of the world....

Nah! You guys in the USA are definately 'how the other half lives' - ESPECIALLY when it comes to glass - or any craft for that matter! Guess we live on the 'dark side' - despite our famed sunshine! But thanks to AOG it does'nt matter - we can be friends anyway!! Friends
