I have been planning this project for over 6 months, maybe much longer. It was just an idea in my head, but I kept putting it off, and thinking I will get to it "next week" or I will start it "tomorrow". Tomorrow and next week just never seemed the right time. Well after my car accident Sunday I have been stuck in the house in pain, and trying to stay off the computer as much as I could because I knew it had a virus. That was next to impossible, I LOVE my computer!!!!!  Well today I finally felt like getting some things done so I took the computer in first thing this morning and had them fix it, and was surprized I got it back so soon. He said I had several viruses but they took care of them all. After taking the computer in I thought  what am I going to do? I dont have a computer!!!!!!! So I thought "HEY DUMBY" lets get that project done, it is simple and quick and you have been putting it off too long! So I did, and here it is. |

Well Tom the clocks were well worth the wait. The look fantastic and I bet they went together quick. Sorry that you had a car accident and hopeful that you, and the car are ok. Great the computer is better. Keep up the good work and sell them while the iron is hot.

Great that you got your computer fixed so soon. Great job. I know you are thrilled that you finally got toit. Sorry about the circumstances though.

Nice idea Tom:)
I was wondering the same thing Malinda. Me thinks he drilled a hole so the clock workings are behind the glass and the 'dial' was glued onto the front?

hehehee, its my secret, and I could tell you but then I would have to kill you!  !!!!! But seriously, yes I did drill a hole thru the glass. The clock face is a decal. Very small U brass came, soldered for the border, colored with a paint pen. Simple as that! |

ah, I figured the part about the clock pieces being in the back I was wondering how the front pictures was afixed....and now I know lol.....

Nice looking clock there! I agree w/Tre, I'd surely take that on by your former workplace..maybe even offer to hang it there for a bit..I'll bet you'd get some orders!!
