Wanted to share a picture of a special panel I finished for my husband this past Christmas.  We were in Ireland back in June of 2008, and took lots of pictures of the stunning scenery there.  One of our favorites was the view of Sandy Cove, which is near Kinsale.

We finally got enough sunlight this past weekend so I could take some better pictures of the panel.  Hopefully the original photo and the panel photo will show up, as I've never tried this before.  If they don't show up, will someone please let me know how to do this?

Thanks!

Thanks, everybody!  There are a few pieces I would do differently now -- didn't realize the grassy hill would be quite so sparkly when the sun hits it -- would rather have the sparkle on the water.  Each piece is a learning experience..............

Yes, Hubby was very pleased :)

Now, back to work on the Irish harp!!!

Nice rendition of the countryside.  Hope it reminds you of your trip with a smile when you look at it.
