Yup, that was me:) I had a kiln for a couple of years to make small things a few times a month but it never really took hold of me until this winter when I started making all those plaid plates. Did you see them? Foiling, lead work, making lamps, running a retail shop and teaching have kept me pretty busy. Now I have to find a way to wiggle in some kiln time! I'm really enjoying this new avenue of creating:) I'm not sure if I have a market for those types of things yet. Foiled and lead will most likely be the main part of my work.

These were really fun to make. Do you have a strip cutter? I started the thread in Fusing/Slumping/Casting - Plaid plates http://artisansofglass.com/index.php/topic,1338.0.html And then Rebecca suggested I start one in here where you showed your Stars:) General Glass topics - I Have A Fun Glass Idea…What’s Your’s? Fused Plaids &Striped Variations. http://artisansofglass.com/index.php/topic,1370.0.htmlFrom there I got hooked into Drop Ring Vases and then the weaves.
