Everyone went for a walk so I thought I would take the time to share a picture of the mirror I did for our Grand son who is now 3 years old. My stepson took the mirror down here so I could take a picture of it. Been waiting for a picture since I gave it to them.

Nothing like a cute teddy with a full tummy, and that butterfly. Where is that pattern? I made it a couple of times and guess I must have borrowed a book.

Thanks Yvonne. The butterfly actually came from a coloring book, the same one the teddy bear was in. Coloring books are a great source for patterns too. |

Thanks everyone. I can't wait to start the mirror for our granddaughter, but with the driveway being so wet all the time from all the snow and rain we have had I don't want to be out there using the saw to shape the base for the mosaic. Don't want curly hair that way LOL

Oh, so cute Joan! You have a talent for mosaics from what I saw at your house! That was great that he brought it with him so that you could take a picture of it!

Thanks everyone. Yes, he does like the mirror for sure. He was upset thinking I was taking it back. He kept telling his father not to forget his mirror and to put it back in the car. LOL

It does look similar, but the bottom wing is really different at the tip, as there isn't any tail at the end. Pretty glass Yvonne |
