Rain, rain, go away,
Come again another day.
Send the clouds and wind asunder
Nor do we want any more thunder.
Barbara wants a sunny day
Then we all can have our say.
We've had a peek, and speak as one
"Go away, roll in the sun."

Thank you all for your compliments.  I did work very hard on this with an immense help from Wayne.  Thank you Wayne for being so patient, knowledgeable and helpful.  I am not a good photographer and I think that if I put this on the light box it may come out better.  I am not going to handle it much more without putting the zinc around it and then a wood frame.

It's a painting, my eye wanders without effort, an enjoyable experience.
One straight line...lol... found a few shaky ones on the stalks but still looking past the edges!

I don't see any truely straight lines, they all appear to have a bit of a bend or a bow in them

It is eye candy at its best.

Right!  I was kidding about finding straight lines.  I did not want any in the design!

Great job, Barb!!
Well worth the substantial time investment. Nice to see such a good history of a project and the work is excellent.
The documentation of the glass choices and piece selection will be useful to many here, I'm sure.

Also, thanks to Wayne for all he contributed to your confidence and the project. It was a treat to read this thread. - Tod

Thanks Tod and I can't thank Wayne enough for all his help and guidance. Believe me the only straight line stuck out to me and I know where it is. One of the centers in the top flower but it's not showing with the solder.   I am going to patina with the antique I have left.  It turns out a warm brown, copper with my water and now that I think of it I didn't wash it.  I used windex to clean it and then waxed it.  One thing that I did different with this panel when I soldered it I turned my 456 to the max and I was surprised and pleased in the difference it made..

Barb you did an outstanding job on this!  I can't wait until you have the zinc around it and get a nice sunny day, I've got a feeling that the color choices and glass direction are going to be just stunning!!

WTG Barb!!
