Nancy, I can't believe you have found so many rings!  I can't find them anywhere.  Maybe you should start selling them.

Rebecca
Giggle Try the Salvation Army, Consignment shops and Good Will. Some others out this way are St. Vincent De Paul's, Stuff Etc. and The Cellar Door. There's more out there, but that's what comes to mind at the moment.
Try anyplace that sells used clothing or used furniture. There's bound to be something like that out your way. Evil Grin

I think they ship them all up to you!

Rebecca

You may have a point. I may have bought out all the ones in this area:) But where are THEY getting them from??? I can't find them anywhere in gift shops in this area.

same here, I bought mine at the thrift shops too.  They must have been popular some years back, which bodes well for us for sales don't you think?

Here are three more drops I just recently finished.

First pic shows how they looked proir to firing.

I cut 1\4" strips of 96 COE black, red and marigold yellow.

I like how this turned out especially the rim. If I were to do this again, I'd like to try it with 1\2" squares rather than the one inch ones I did shown here.

But this one...yaaaa! I totally love this one! It's my favourite so far. All the strips were left overs from the plaid plates and I cut them all into 1\4" strips. Then I cold worked it to turn it into a round shape instead of a square one. The principle is exactly the same way as I make the multi coloured nuggets except, instead of staking the layers on top of each other, I stacked them side to side on end.

These pics don't really show it but when I turn the glass, the effect is a bit like a kaldeidoscope! shocked

I'm really excited by the last one! It was a little more work than the others. For sure I'll be making a few more of 'em!

Yes, I like that Harlequin look, great way to use up scraps! You could do a Columbina and Pierrote series, Any that drip little off you can be put down to the tears shed by the couple!

Love that last one too!

I like that:)  Giggle
That one touched the floor of the kiln a bit because I was side tracked by that local guy with the computer. I think it compressed the drop design a little, making it look even a little more different than if it hadn't.

beautiful!  I really like these! And the stands you scored really set off your drops. Really cool what they do when they drop and thanks for showing us the pic of them prior to the drop.
