Thanks for the wishes:) I have a bottom partial so I'll be adding a new pearly to join the others, lol. I'll be glad when tomorrow is over. I'm not a fan of having needles taken in my mouth.  embarrassed

Good luck at the dentist, Nancy !  Fingers Crossed 2    Never fear - you can ask your dentist for the offending injection ampoule  stick and start your collection to make something funky in recycled glass!  (as long as the ampoule has a peel off label - if it's 'fired on' - not worth the effort!)

Thanks Beth and Ian:) My mouth is a-okey now.

I'm taking the day off glass work and then back at it tomorrow.
Last night I even dreamed about what the next drop ring vase will look like!

Thanks all for kind comments. Yes, Ann, - I did - for myself!   Too much fiddly stuff to make them saleable,  but fun as a once off!   Actually I need to make a matching one to the blue bathroom one for the loo - - - maybe this year?!
Glad it's all over, Nancy!   You'll soon be y'ol bouncy self again!   Enjoy your day off!

I was looking for Macrame rings at Craft etc as I cant get them locally and found the votive holders. Not exactly thrift store prices but if you need some they start at $5

That's interesting that you found that drop ring Yvonne. Yesterday, Dan and I had a look in various 'gifty' type shops for some new drop ring vases and didn't see even ONE! There's no hobby lobby in Cedar Rapids, but will keep that in mind. The second hand shops are the best place for me to find them. We must have at least 50 of 'em so far:) Many were gotten for a dollar or less.
Today, they're having a 50% sale for everything at one of the thrift shops so we're going to pick up a few more for a couple of bucks each. I thought they would be all over the place as a new finished unit but either I'm looking in the wrong places or theier now as rare as hen's teeth. I checked on line for other drop ring examples and looks like this thread is shows the most varieties of drop vases so far! shocked This and the plaid plate thread. Even more than in the Warm Glass site. Ya!

I'm getting ready to prepare 3 drops for the first full fuse. grin I can't seem to get them out of my system yet, lol.

Looking for others to post their drop ring versions here:)

I don't do longer drops anymore unless a customer requests one.  I did alot of them a few years ago...a few sold and the rest stayed with me til I gave them as gifts!  I hope they do better in your area!

LoL. Right now, they're in my system and just having fun making them. I have alot of boutiques where I can show some of these. If they sell, great. If not, then they'll act as advertising:) For sure, I haven't seen any of these up where I live.

Nancy, I can't believe you have found so many rings!  I can't find them anywhere.  Maybe you should start selling them.

Giggle Try the Salvation Army, Consignment shops and Good Will. Some others out this way are St. Vincent De Paul's, Stuff Etc. and The Cellar Door. There's more out there, but that's what comes to mind at the moment.
Try anyplace that sells used clothing or used furniture. There's bound to be something like that out your way. Evil Grin

Look out for Goodwill shipping charges, not all, but some are ridiculously high because they use Fedex or UPS for something that will fit into a USPS envelope or flat rate package.
