Though many members have years of experience some members
are still newbies to the craft of stained glass, with that in mind could we have a section (that is pinned to the top) listing
tutorials or a separate board?

I also remember on a different stained glass forum we had a thread about
sharing your favorite tips. (for anyone who is self-taught that was really helpful).

There is a section in the gallery called "when words are not enough" that has some tips in it...

Somehow I totally missed that.  shocked

I was thinking about decorative solder,
attaching a hook, and making a jig for just a few examples.

When I attempted to make a lantern I didn't know
the trick about making a jig, nor about not cutting
your base piece until after you had soldered your
four panels.

These are all great suggestions Helen and I hope someone will help us out, especially the decorative solder.

I added a board specifically for tutorials to be placed.

Helen, check out the hints and tips board above the  tutorial board. Info can be placed there as well when a conplete tutorial is not needed.
